Zion families - please check your app for a statement put out by Kearney Public School and the Kearney Police Dept. about a school threat that KPD investigated and deemed NOT credible. Zion administration was kept informed of the situation and KPD stepped up police presence around the school out of an abundance of caution. All in all, it was a positive exercise in communication between Zion, KPS, and KPD. We are blessed to have officers as part of our school family. Keep them in your prayers and thank them for all they do to keep Zion and Kearney safe!
