An Adult Instruction Class will begin on Sunday, September 10th at 6:30 p.m. We will meet in the church fellowship hall six times to study the basic teachings of the Christian faith. If you are unable to attend all the sessions when they are offered, then Pr. DeLoach can meet with you individually to cover the material.
Why might someone attend this class?
1. To learn or review the basic teachings of the Christian religion.
2. To learn what your children are being taught at Zion Lutheran School
3. To join Zion Lutheran Church as a member if you wish.
Please contact Pastor DeLoach (james.deloach@zionkearney.org or 308-627-5260) with any questions.

Zion families - please check your app for a statement put out by Kearney Public School and the Kearney Police Dept. about a school threat that KPD investigated and deemed NOT credible. Zion administration was kept informed of the situation and KPD stepped up police presence around the school out of an abundance of caution. All in all, it was a positive exercise in communication between Zion, KPS, and KPD. We are blessed to have officers as part of our school family. Keep them in your prayers and thank them for all they do to keep Zion and Kearney safe!
