This year Zion held it’s first ever school archery competition as part of this year’s Lutheran Schools Week festivities!
Students in grades 4 thru 8 have been trained in archery as part of Zion’s physical education curriculum. Zion received a grant from the Nebraska Dept. of Parks & Rec. in 2019. Teachers Splittgerber, Vogel, and Willers were trained by officials prior to teaching their own students.
This year’s winner was seventh grader Landen Eckhoff, followed by sixth grader Miriam Gaunt, and seventh grader Eric Noyes.
